July, 2008- Lake Zurich, IL – PrehKeyTec and ScanSource have partnered together to deliver a custom key layout for the Preh MCI3100 to support Microsoft’s Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) software.  Taking advantage of Preh’s ability to embed keystrokes and create hot keys, Preh and ScanSource worked together to integrate the most common RMS functions into single key strokes.  The solution simplifies transactions, reduces cashier training time and offers a more intuitive, easy-to-use POS system through color-coded keys.  The product was unveiled at ScanSource on the Road in Denver and displayed at the ScanSource Hospitality Dealer Meeting during RSPA’s RetailNOW in Las Vegas.
